Chris, Deputy Headteacher at Yewstock School, started her career in mainstream and SEN bases in the US before moving to the UK in 2007. Here, she has worked in mainstream, SEN bases and a PRU before starting at Yewstock as Post 16 and Sensory Support Lead. After taking on the role of 14-19 Lead and Careers Leader and then Assistant Head, she became Deputy Headteacher in June 2020. Chris is also on the TADSS ITT Committee and leads ITT at Yewstock. Chris has always enjoyed mentoring new teachers, particularly those making the move from mainstream to special.
