With hundreds of apps on the market and encouragement from all quarters to use new technology, how can we ensure best use of these powerful tools for learning? Using a handwriting app, staff will be assessing do and don’ts for using iPads effectively in the classroom.
Many of our pupils have very complex needs – helping them to understand their achievements in a meaningful way can be difficult. Conventional ways of assessing them do not always do justice to their progress. Staff at Beaucroft School are trying out a range of new ways to teach and record their achievements.
